The Osher Foundation

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) was founded and is supported by the The Bernard Osher Foundation, headquartered here in San Francisco.

Bernard Osher and his family are philanthropists who have a strong commitment to the arts and education.

The Osher name is associated with many well-known San Francisco Bay Area institutions, such as KQED and some of our leading museums and arts organizations. The Osher Foundation founded its first Lifelong Learning Institutes in 2001. OLLI SF State applied to become an institute in 2002.
