About the Legacy Film Festival on Aging

The 8th Annual Film Festival on Aging celebrates the aging process as profound and meaningful, often challenging, and always courageous. Will we ‘age gracefully’, or crankily, or painfully? Or defiantly? With humor?

Our filmmakers portray some of the many facets of this unique, ever-changing experience honestly and artfully and always with compassion and love for their subjects.

The board of directors, film festival researchers and screening panel are contacting filmmakers and reviewing current film submissions from all over the world, to bring you films that embrace our mission to educate, entertain, and inspire intergenerational audiences about the issues of aging.
