Brown Bag Lecture: Memory Loss with Jocelyn DeLaTorre, RN by Kaiser Senior Health Series

When: August 1, 2018 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Jocelyn has been a nurse since 1980 and with Kaiser Permanente since 1993 and works as a Registered Nurse Case Manager for the Complex Chronic Conditions Case Management Program, Dementia Care, Palliative Care and Special Needs Program.

“Taking charge of our targeted population of the frail elderly with complex health problems has been challenging, yet genuinely rewarding. I share their laughter and their tears. I celebrate with them and grieve with them. It may sound corny, but my patients have made me realize the true meaning of the old adage, ‘Life should be a journey to be savored each step of the way, not a race’. As I help my patients and their families deal with all the difficult issues of aging, they are training me to face the future with courage and wisdom.”
