SF Adventures - SF Public Utilities Commission Headquarters (SFPUC)

When: February 8, 2017 - 2:00pm to 3:00pm

We will be joining a public tour of one of the nation’s greenest office buildings – the SF Public Utilities Commission Headquarters (SFPUC).  This state-of-the-art 13-story, 277,500 square-feet building, designed and built to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum standards, exemplifies sustainable design and fiscal responsibility.  This building features on-site wastewater treatment & use of recycled wastewater, rainwater harvesting, solar panels, and more.  The $190 M LEED® Platinum SFPUC Headquarters opened in 2012 at 525 Golden Gate Ave. at Polk St.
