The Presidio Goldsworthy Hike 6/17

When: June 17, 2016 - 10:45am to 1:00pm

Meeting in front of the Presidio Officers Club, (95 Anza Esplanade, San Francisco 94129), Accessable by car (Paid Parking $1.50 an hour), MUNI line 43, or the Presidio Shuttle from the transbay terminal. We will be seeing the inside work - Tree Fall - and guided through the old powder magazine, and given a history of this beautiful art installation. We’ll go from Tree Fall to the Upper Ecology Trail, walk down to El Polin Springs to see the restoration and archeological work done at this original Presidio site, where there is a water fountain to refill water bottles and benches, making it a good stop for a snack. Then on  to the Spire, then to Wood Line, and up Lover’s Lane to see Earth Wall in the Presidio Officer’s Club, where those that want to can dine at Arguello’s. This is a 3.1 mile hike with an elevation of 656 feet. The hike should take about 2 1/2 hours.  See the route at /  RSVP to
