SF Adventure - San Francisco Fire Department Museum

Wednesday, June 15, 2016 - 13:00

The SFFD Museum opened in 1964. This building was originally meant to house a fire company, but was never used for that purpose, so Chief William Murray decided to use the space for a new museum. This museum is set up in a loose chronological order starting with the very beginnings of the gold rush. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed. Several muni buses go near the museum which is on Presidio Ave. between Bush and Pine. Hope to see you there!
