Senior Writers' Workshop (Topic: Self-Publishing)

When: May 18, 2016 - 12:30pm to 2:00pm

Subject:  Program for upcoming 4th meeting - Senior Writer Workshop

The fourth monthly session of our new Senior Writers’ Workshop will be held on Wednesday, May, 18, from 12:30 to 2:30p.m. in Room 255, Creative Arts Building, Main Campus at SFSU.

This new workshop is intended to encourage more writing by OLLI and Sixty Plus Members.  Engage in open discussions with current writers about the craft, share your current work, try provocative writers’ prompts.  If enough interest, break into small critique/support groups. Bring a sample of your work.

Coordinators: Mike Lambert, OLLI member and self-published novel writer, and Keven Bellows, long time poet and author of 2 books of poetry about her life.

This month’s topic: Could self-publishing be in your future?

Here is a suggested preparation exercise for this meeting: Complete this sentence:

The writing project I want to finish is:   ________ , because:  _____________ .

Bring several copies of your statement to share with other writers. Bring a friend or two to the meeting (we’re still getting started).

Here's a flyer to share!
