Main Campus Outing - SF State Global Museum: Climate Exhibit and Mummies
SFSU Global Museum, Climate Exhibit & Mummies!
Meet at Main Campus, Fine Arts Building, 1600 Holloway Avenue Room 203
Join OLLI members and Paige Bardolph, Global Museum Director who will lead us on a one-hour tour of the SFSU Global Museum. The visit will include the Egyptian Learning Alcove where mummies are on display and also see their newest exhibit, Climate Stories, which explores the impacts of climate change on indigenous communities across the globe and action being taken now, including on the SF State campus. After the museum visit, please feel free to join us for lunch at the SFSU Student Union where there’s a huge variety of inexpensive food options.
The tour is limited to 15 people. Please RSVP to Elaine Porter at firstname.lastname@example.org
There is no cost for participation in this event; but all participants must be OLLI members.
