Sixty Plus - “You Animate Me!" with Lori Korngiebel, Greg Emerson

When: January 23, 2017 - 1:00pm

Join us to hear from Lori Korngiebel, Post Production Producer, who recently completed "The Finest Hours" for Walt Disney Studios; and Greg Emerson, Vice President of Post Production at Warner Brothers TV Animation, for this fascinating presentation.

They will lead us on a journey through the filmmaking process from beginning to end in film and TV. Lori and Greg will discuss the ABCs of animation, and show us the entire animation workflow process and how it has changed over the years.

For much of its existence, the Disney studio was recognized as the premier American animation studio. It developed many of the techniques, concepts, and principles that became standard practices of traditional animation.

Warner Bros. Animation (also known as Warner Animation Group for theatrical films) is the animation division of Warner Bros., a subsidiary of Time Warner. The studio is closely associated with the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies characters, among others.

The meeting will be held in The Rosa Parks Room, Cesar Chavez Student Center at 1:00 p.m. Sixty Plus members whose last names begin with the letters Ga - Go are requested to bring treats. If you are not attending, make sure you contribute or arrange to have someone bring something for you.
